Shavette razors are interchangeable blades that are very popular in barber shops as each customer has a new blade. They are also a great resource to get started in shaving with a razor without having to invest in a traditional barber knife and a setter, this razor has a long blade so it looks more like a classic barber knife.

Material of the blade and handle

The sheet is made of high quality aluminum that undergoes an anodizing process to alter the outer layer of the aluminum which gives it a more elegant appearance and greater resistance to corrosion.

The handle is made of olive wood which has greater resistance to humidity than other types of wood such as oak or beech. It is more resistant to mould and is a very hard wood, which makes it a great material for making razor blades that often get wet.
