The Wüsthof SilverPoint salmon slicer with Flexible edge 29 cm is the ultimate speciality knife designed solely for the paper-thin slicing of this delicate cut of fish. The hollow edge creates pockets of air which prevent extra thin or soft slices from sticking to the blade. This kind of blade is particularly recommended for the very thin cutting of slices, such as salmon or ham.

The SilverPoint series has the same blade as other Wusthof knives, but offers an alternative handle choice. They have hand-forged blades made from optimum quantities of high-carbon steel, plus stain-resistant alloy. The edge has precise tapering from grinding and polishing procedure. Slip-free handles made of molded, pebble-grained polypropylene. Dishwasher safe, but hand-washing is recommended. Made in Germany.
