Each sharpener is equipped with two sharpening discs.
New HORL ® Quick Lock system, thanks to this system the discs can be exchanged with a single movement.

Diamond Disc (Quick Grinding)

Each sharpener comes with a standard diamond abrasive disc. With this disc you can sharpen efficiently whatever the hardness of the knife and leave a high quality edge, obtaining professional results in a short time without the need for water.

Constructed with extremely hard block diamonds guaranteeing precise results. The block diamonds used in the standard grit disc provide up to 80% more grinding compared to HORL 2 products, achieving more uniform sharpening more quickly.

Ceramic Disc To Set the Edge Without Leaving Burrs 

Once the abrasive disc has been used, the ceramic disc will remove any remaining burrs leaving an even finer finish thanks to the grooves on the disc.

Maximum Adhesion Grip

The new HORL®3 Grip Pad is designed to give up to 70% more grip compared to the silicone membrane (S-Pad) of HORL®2.

20° Sharpening Angle (For a Durable Edge)

Using the 20° angle will give you a long-lasting edge on knives with robust blades, such as European cocona knives, hunting knives or pocket knives. It is best for everyday use.

15° sharpening angle

Mainly used for knives with a thinner blade, such as Japanese knives, or for extra sharpness in the cutting edge. Suitable for knives made of damascus steel or high quality carbon steel.

HORL sharpeners are made in Germany, in the Black Forest region, from walnut wood that has been dried for weeks and precisely milled.
