The length of the blade is 8.5 cm, made of stainless steel with a hardness of 55-57 HRC, like all Opinel knives from No. 6, it has a Viroloc lock, which allows the knife to be locked both open and closed, to avoid accidental opening.

Opinel stainless steel is of high quality, alloyed in Europe, with an optimum degree of hardness, which guarantees resistance to corrosion and a high degree of mechanical performance.

Stainless steel does not need maintenance under normal conditions of use, however it can reach its limit by prolonged exposure to an abrasive environment, such as acid, salt water, detergents, etc.
